Postby manuStudio » 19 May 2006, 11:30

Well I was at Paul Ricard HTTT yesterday for the teams private test.
I took a few good pics.
So what happend to Massa and Ferrari??
Blowing their engine only after 3 laps and having no replacement parts to fix it, needed to pack everything and leave the track in the morning.

Exclusive from manuStudio here are the pictures from the Ferrari up in smokes.

Formula One is all about wasting money...it’s all about developing incredibly expensive one of a kind devices for two cars for about six months, then the FIA hates it, then they have it banned the next year. Reduce cost now; ban the FIA.

A Ferrari breaking an engine?! That's new to me. That doesn't happen to them for a long time IIRC. But maybe it was a special test engine.

Since Malaysia 2006 you mean :P

THey went through about four or five engines that weekend between the cars trying to sort out their piston ring problem. Seemed sorted since though, so dont know about this latest failure.

Ohhh! I forgot about that! But before that they were a lot of time without engine problems right? At least 2 years...

Still a failled Ferrari engine, but that's why they test, better failling a test than a race.
