Stoopid Question!!

Not the first time this has been asked I bet however, when I try to download a Vid Cip, it "automatically" opens Windows MediaPlayer and says that it can't read the file (probably 'cos its a DivX file). I can't seem to "overide" my MediaPlayer to download these files. What do I need to do. I don't want to ditch MediaPlayer completely 'cos I use it for other things so how can I make the DivX videos download.

use flashget do download the videos and then right click on the link"download" of the video and choose "download with flashget"

It's free to use but I dont like it that much

it's a download manager.it increases download speed by downloading the files in a different number of parts.
