AFL(australian football legue) thats the main use for the MCG.

Cricket (VB series and Boxing day test)

Rugby has been there, gaelic football, and lots of concerts have been there aswell.

Great venue with plenty of tradition and history. Love heading there for sporting events. Just oozes atmosphere.

indeed it is, does the fellow melbournians remember the 1995 anzac day clash? collingwood v essondon? 98,000 people, and it was a draw, i was there and it was an amazing atmosphere, i was only 7, but i remember it very well. one of the best stadiums in the world. if not. the best.
