I've played curling for 3 years, and intend to continue during at least 5 other years 8-)

And next season, my team and I expect to reach the junior (20 y/o or less) world championships :) Honnestly, I think we can. Last year, we got the bronze in a rather big tournament in Sorel, although our lead and our second had played only 3 games each before the tournament

I did swimming during around 8 years (Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly, and Freestyle. Butterfly is the most difficult while Breaststroke is the easiest, in my view). But I don't do swimming since 2003...

Also, I used to play table-tennis for some years. Not that good but it was possible to have some fun anyway.

or only a Connors :P Nah, actually, I'd rather try to improve my skills. There is a long way to go before I can even think joining leagues  But hey ! could be sooner than I think

On the other hand, when I'm not at the tennis court, I'm at the local karting track 8-) We had a wet race last week, and I won it, lapping everyone  There was no rain during lap 1, but as soon as lap 2 had started it was pouring buckets of water  We were still on slick tyres as well :P So, the kart was a nightmare to control, and its behaviour was hard to predict, always on the limit of becoming extreme understeer. I think I've been about to go in the grass in almost every corner :o But on lap 5, I probably was a little too excited, and I ran too wide at the exit of turn 1 and I spent the next 5 seconds in dirt, mud and grass :P On the next lap, I spun in turn 2. But the best thing was that, on the last lap, I set the benchmark to 1'19.734. When I rejoined the pits, I'd been told that a very good wet lap is around 1'26

Now, the embarassing side of my afternoon :P It was during the cool-down lap. I saw that someone went off in the hairpin. So I told myself to brake earlier and harder than usual. But those karts have only rear brakes. I braked so hard that the rear completely locked up, and I nearly hit the other kart :o I'd stopped in the tyres. Unfortunately for me, my mate was sitting there with my camera, so he took one interresting shot, which you can see below :P
